4th grade and kindergarten

Well the kids stared school on Monday. This was Brooklyn's fifth year of school but it was Andrew's first. Brooklyn was a little nerves starting the fourth grade. She gets to change classes and she has a locker. Andrew was excited to start kindergarten. His teacher seems nice. I think he is going to love school. He thought it was cool to eat in the lunchroom and to be able to get his own food. I thank we are going to have a great year.

Finally getting well

Well it looks like we are all finally getting better. Brooklyn has been sick since the Friday school got out. She's had bronchitis and walking pneumonia. Andrew has a fever virus and my twin nieces have been sick also. Brooklyn is still coughing a little but doing a lot better. She missed a trip to the beach with her mawmaw because she has been sick. I hope everyone stays well. Michael and I had our 10 year wedding anniversary on June 12th. We went to Nashville and stayed at the Oprymills Hotel. It was so much fun. It was nice to have some one come in and clean the room while we went out. It was nice not to have any kids to take care of for a few days. But we sure did miss them. I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Moving Back Home

Well my Mom is finally moving back home. My step-dad has been a preacher for years know. They have been in Robertsdale for about three years or so. I enjoyed being able to go to the beach for free but I had rather have her closer. So in May they will be moving back to Tuscaloosa which is two hours from me but much closer than six hours away. Thank you Lord for answered prayers. We are so excited. Brooklyn is really excited Mawmaw will be closer now we can see them more. Have a blessed day.

Sewing

Last night was my first sewing experience and I loved it. I'm made a purse. My mother-in-law helped me. I love to sew now I just need to learn how to make some clothes for my kids. Sewing is just so relaxing. Now I would like to have me a new sewing machine. I have one that was my step-grandmothers it's nice I would just like to have a computerized one. They are easier to use.
Here are some pictures of my purse.

Time to post again

I know I haven't posted in a while. Me, the kids, My Mom and Grandmother went to the Mountains for spring break. We went on a women's retreat and I really enjoyed it. I'm trying very hard to be a better Mother and wife and Christian since the trip. Me and Michael started The Love Dare devotion and we are enjoying it. We hope to watch Fireproof tonight. Hubby has been sick so we haven't been able to watch it yet. Last night at church the youth group gave testimonies from their mission trip to Colorado Springs, Colorado. I would love to be able to go on the next mission trip it seemed to be a life changing trip for some. God really worked miracles on that trip. They handed out 15,000 fliers in three days. Also my little boy turned Five. I can't believe how fast they grow up. He will start school in August. My how time flies. I hope everyone has a blessed week.

Field Trip....

Me and Brooklyn leave Wednesday to go on a field trip to Camp McDowell. We will be gone until Friday afternoon. She is so excited. That will give us some mother daughter time. We haven't had much of that in a while. Andrew will be staying at his Grandma and Grand pa's. I have only left him one other time in his whole life so we'll see how it goes. He will stay with them Tuesday night to Thursday afternoon then Michael will get him when he gets off. He took Friday off to spend with him. I'll post more when we get back. Have a blessed week.

My Goal

Well I'm finally five lbs way from my first goal. I've worked hard this month to lose weight. It has been hard at times but it's nice to get on the scales and see the hard work pay off. My next goal will be to lose 10 more lbs by the swimsuit season.

What kids say....

Andrew is so silly he tells me everyday that he needs a holding. If he hasn't had one he will say I haven't had a holding today. Also last Saturday on the way home he looked at the sun then told Brooklyn to smile the sun wants to take our picture. Last night when i was straightening my hair he said that thing is biting your hair mom. Kids say the funniest things. Have a Blessed Day.

Lifechanging church service

Well all these years I thought I was saved until last nights service. I realized that I was not. The Lord was talking to me the entire service. I could hardly wait for them to have invitation. My heart was pounding really hard. I went down to the alter and Mrs. Smith came can prayed with me and I asked the Lord to come into my heart. I'm a change person. Life is wonderful. I have no worries anymore. The Lord will take care of everything. If there is anybody out there that doesn't know the Lord i pray you get to know him soon. I believe that we are in the end times. I'll pray for all of you and may God Bless. My daughter Brooklyn was so excited. She was grinning ear to ear after the service.

Tired of Being Sick

We have been sick since before Christmas. Just when you think everyone is getting well someone gets sick again. Poor Andrew has been sick since Dec. 3rd and has not really gotten better. I took him to the doctor Monday and now he as strep. I sure wish the weather would make up its mind what it wants to do. If it's going to get cold then it should stay cold if not then just warm up already. Please pray that we all yet well and stay that way.
